The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a
* Flood Advisory for...
An Ice Jam in...
Southeastern Dodge County in east central Nebraska...
Northeastern Saunders County in east central Nebraska...
* Until 445 PM CST Tuesday.
* At 438 PM CST, emergency management reported that an ice jam
remained in the Platte River near Fremont, which continues to
cause minor flooding along the banks of the river at this time.
The flooding is generally occurring upstream from the Highway 77
bridge westward to about County Road 16. The river downstream from
the railroad bridge generally has an open channel. Unfortunately,
the ice jam may remain in place for a few days until things can
naturally flush out.
* Some locations that may continue to experience flooding include...
Inglewood, Camp Eagle, Camp Cedars, Fremont Lakes State Recreation
Area, and Woodcliff.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent. Continue to heed any road closures in the area.
